Quick Overview
QuillCart provides self-service account deletion. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account Settings page. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Sign in to your QuillCart account at quillcart.com
- Go to Settings - Click on “Settings” in the sidebar navigation
- Scroll to “Delete Account” - Find the red “Danger Zone” section at the bottom
- Review warnings - The system will show you what will be deleted
- Confirm deletion - Type “DELETE” and click the delete button

What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
Permanently Deleted
- Your user profile and account
- All stores and products
- AI agents and configurations
- Conversation history
- Customer orders and data
- Phone numbers (released back to Twilio)
- Unused credits (forfeited)
- Pending commissions (if consultant)
Retained for Compliance
- Anonymized financial records (10 years - French law)
- Deletion audit log (anonymized)
- Stripe transaction history (Stripe's retention)
Before You Delete
💾 Download Your Data First
Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of all your data from the Settings page. Look for “Download My Data” in the settings. Your export will include your profile, stores, products, conversations, orders, and billing history.
Deletion Blockers
You may be unable to delete your account if you have:
- Active subscription: Cancel your subscription first
- Pending payout: Wait for the payout to complete
- Processing payment: Wait for payment to finalize
The Settings page will show you exactly what needs to be resolved before deletion.
Special Cases
Consultant Accounts
If you are a consultant in our partner program:
- Your clients will be unlinked and become independent users
- Pending and available commissions will be forfeited
- You will be warned about this before confirming deletion
Managed Accounts (Consultant Clients)
If your account was created by a consultant:
- You have full control to delete your own account
- Your consultant will be notified that you have left
- The consultant relationship will be terminated
WhatsApp Customer Data
For end customers who chatted with a QuillCart-powered WhatsApp agent:
Your conversation data is stored by the merchant using QuillCart. To request deletion of your conversation history, please contact the business you interacted with directly. When a merchant deletes their QuillCart account, all customer conversation data associated with that merchant is also deleted.
Timeline
- Account access: Revoked immediately
- Data deletion: Completed immediately
- Phone number release: Immediate (numbers become unavailable)
- External services: Notified within 24 hours
- Backup purge: Within 30 days
Cannot Access Your Account?
If you cannot access your account but need to request data deletion, please contact us:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing the deletion request. Response time: within 30 days (as required by GDPR).
Your Rights
Under GDPR and French data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data (use “Download My Data” in Settings)
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data (edit in Settings)
- Erasure: Delete your data (use “Delete Account” in Settings)
- Portability: Export your data in machine-readable format
